The Accelerated Coach Training Program Curriculum
The Accelerated Coach Training Program is an eighteen-week long program designed to help you attain proficiency in all the basic coaching competencies. The entire program is taught from a biblical perspective, using Scripture, the life of Jesus, and spiritual transformation as its foundation. Upon graduation, you will be certified as a Growth Coach through Lifeforming Leadership Coaching. Lifeforming’s material is fantastic. It is highly relational and interactive. During weeks one through ten, you will see coaching demonstrations performed live during classes and work with your peers to debrief those demos to make sense of how and why coaching works. You will journey with an assigned peer to put into practice all the core coaching competencies you are being taught. By week eleven of the program, you will move into a full practicum experience where you will be coaching a peer and an actual client with supervision and feedback. This will help you to integrate all you have been learning weeks 1-10. The goal is to help you shift your communication/leadership style in these 18 weeks to reflect the “heart of a coach.” [Listen to an audio teaching by Lifeforming Leadership Coaching’s Founder Dr. Joseph Umidi on what it menas to embody the “Heart of a Coach.”] The program will require approximately a five hour per week commitment on your part, making it easy to incorporate into your busy life.
The Accelerated Coach Training Program Enrollees
We currently have trainees inquiring about the spring class (January-May) from across the US and even overseas. Classes are small…under 25 trainees, which allows for great peer/instructor relationships to form. We do all our training online through a group Skype-type video format. All trainees are typically strong believers…leaders in their fields who either want to use coaching skills in their current roles or are interested in starting their own coaching ministries/businesses. These are educated, passionate individuals who will really enrich your learning experience. All have tremendous visions from the Lord about what they feel called to do with their training. You will be very blessed by journeying through your training with this group of individuals. [Trainees are male and female, from a variety of countries and range in age from twenty to sixty.]
The Accelerated Coach Training Program Graduates
Once you graduate from the 18 week program, you will be eligible to begin taking clients as a Growth Coach or you can continue on to complete the one-year Professional Coaching Certificate we offer. If you decide you definitely want to coach as a profession, I recommend the one-year program highly. It will give you everything you need to interact with your clients with excellence.
The Accelerated Coach Training Program Accreditation Details
The Accelerated Coach Training Program satisfies the International Coach Federation requirements for accreditation at the Associate Coach level via the “portfolio path.” If you decide you wish to pursue this accreditation (the equivalent to being “licensed” in counseling), you can begin the process of logging your required coaching hours and being mentored immediately upon graduating from the Accelerated Coach Training Program in December.

I would like to know more about this program. I don’t have skype. It mentioned that there is a cost but this page doesn’t mention the cost. I need to know more. As a Christian with a MA in counseling I would like to see if it is something I could in the Kearney, Nebraska area.

The program is definitely available to you in Kearney via the internet. You would need to download Skype, but it is free. The cost of the program is $1999, but if you register by August 31st there is a $400 discount, making it $1599. Please let me know what else I can tell you. I am excited about your MA in Counseling.
